Common Questions

Yes. Google's policy permits AI-assisted responses as long as they're accurate, reflect the business's voice, and don't impersonate the reviewer. The risk is generic AI slop that looks templated. A well-built system uses the reviewer's name, references their specific feedback, and writes in the brand's actual voice.

A poorly built one, yes generic "thanks for your feedback" responses are obvious. A custom build trained on the business's past replies, with sentiment-aware tone and specific issue referencing, is generally indistinguishable from human writing.

Any language GPT-4 supports more than 50, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin, Hindi, Russian, and Dhivehi. The system auto-detects the review language and replies in kind.

Negative reviews are routed to a human draft queue by default. The AI prepares a calibrated apology and resolution offer, the owner reads and edits, then sends. Auto-send is reserved for clearly positive (4-5 star) reviews.
